Soccer
well, i woke up yesterday feeling all bored and lonely. played some com games then watched tv, dun feel like doing any work at all. then jon called to say that they are playing the design olympics sceond round, and want me to play for their team. well, i haven played soccer for a long time, so i decided to play for them. headed down to school, then while walking to design block, met doug. hanged around with him til about 6 as he had lecture. headed down to the court to kick around a bit. in the end, there were 4 teams left, year 1 moi, year 2 vsc, year 2 iad, and my team, which was year 1 vsc plus me from iad. haha. we were drawn to play the year 2 iad team while the moi and vsc 2 team played each another. my team lost to these guys 3-0 last week during the first round. guess what, we beat them 4-1 this round. i scored a hat-trick. wahaha. so cheapo. one right foot, one left plus one free kick. farisi scored the other goal. and we met the year 2 vsc team in the final, as they beat the moi team. hmm, we had a very very bad start. we were already trailing 3-0 by halftime. my team gave away those goals like free. argh, so lame. well, the second half was better. i volleyed one goal back, but they scored right from the kick off ! i didn't hear the whistle! then, with 2 min left, i scored another one, then i had one disallowed ! the refree dunno how to play advantage. cant blame him la, caleb is a basketball player, he dunno the soccer rules. then i hit the post! so unlucky mann. farisi score with the last kick of the match and we lost 4-3. well, the other team was not bad as they have a soccer team outside. they have been playing with each another for quite sometime while i have only played with some of my teammates for the very first time. haha. was quite satisfied with scoring 5 goals, 2 of which are quite nice. lol. now i'm so tempted to play soccer again. haha. went home with doug after everything was over. and i was getting cramps again. eeks, haven exercise for quite some time. woke up to watch soccer this morning, the good thing is that west ham beat arsenal 3-2 ( woots !! double happiness ) man u lost 4-3 to blackburn and chelsea draw 1-1 with aston villa, but the sad thing is that liverpool draw 1-1 with birmingham. eeks, alonso 88 min own goal without anyone pressuring him. so lame la. then in the 93rd min liverpool hit the crossbar and fowler scored a bicycle kick that was disallowed due to offside. wakao. somemore brimingham 10 men. zzz... nothing to say liao... argh...
